The radiated tortoise’s shell has a pattern of yellow lines “radiating” from the center of the dark plate of the shell, hence the name. The shell also contains blood vessels and nerves, so a tortoise can actually feel when it is touched.

Enjoy a night out at the 20th annual Friends of the Rosamond Gifford Zoo fundraiser.
Taste regional beers and wines, see animals on exhibit, enjoy delicious food and fun music.

Advance sale: $50 per person

Group tickets (6+): $45 per person
