Visit the Zoo's gift shop for everything from souvenirs for you, to fun keepsakes for the children, to unique presents for friends and relatives.

Bring an Animal-Sized Appetite

Enjoy lunch at the Jungle Café!   The Jungel Café offers kids' meals, traditional favorites and healthy alternatives. If you're looking for a "grab n' go" snack, stop by the express window located outside on the terrace. 

"In The Wings"

             The Rosamond Gifford Zoo’s “In the Wings” Bird Program will bring you

             extremely close to many amazing birds, from falcons to owls to parrots. Zoo

             visitors will not only see these beautiful animals, but they will also learn more

             about the adaptations that make them unique and their role in the natural 

             world. The bird shows take place daily from June 23 to September 4.

             “In the Wings” is free with regular paid zoo admission. “In the Wings” is made

             possible by a grant from the Fred J. Harder Foundation.

Demos will be every day until September 4 (weather permitting).  Meet the keeper chats will be conducted periodically throughout the Zoo.  The Contact Barn may conduct additional demos throughout the day.  Schedule is subject to change
