Parents, need some extra time to start your holiday shopping or clean up post-Thanksgiving? Bring your kids to the zoo for an exciting, educational event! This all-day camp for kids ages 6-12 will help you find time to yourself while your children enjoy a fun-filled day at the zoo! Campers will be grouped with similar-aged children to tour the zoo, see animals up close, play games and make awesome crafts! Lunch (a pizza party!) is included.

Activities include zoo tours, games, animal demonstrations, craft, snacks, movie and pizza party lunch! Activities will be different each day, so come for one-or both!

We strongly encourage you to register online. Registrations mailed in will be filled in the order in which they are received.
If the session you want is filled, please e-mail Ashlea at Avallejos@rosamondgiffordzoo.org to be placed on a wait list. All registrations received after camp sessions are full will be held on a wait list. If payment has been made with a personal check/money order, it will be returned to you after the date of the camp has passed. If space becomes available, you will be contacted immediately. Spaces that open will be filled on a first come, first served basis.
Reservations are required for all programs. There is limited space in each program so please register early. A minimum number of registrants is required to run each program. We reserve the right to cancel a program if the minimum number of registrants is not met. If the zoo cancels the camp session due to lack of enrollment or severe weather, a full refund or program credit will be given.
If your child is enrolled and you must cancel for any reason, your registration fee is nonrefundable unless a child on the wait list can fill the space. If there is no wait list for the session indicated, we cannot issue a refund. In the event the cancelled slot is filled, a 25% processing fee will be deducted from your refund.
Every participant under the age of 18 without a parent or legal guardian on the premises during the education program must have a signed consent and waiver form on file with the Education Department. This form will be kept on file for one (1) year, so you only need to fill it out once. If your child's medical history, including food allergy or activity restrictions changes, please notify the Education Department to update your file at 435-8511 ext. 124. All education programs, including Edventure Academy, camps, and overnights will run as scheduled unless the zoo has been closed by order of Onondaga County administration. Sorry, but no refunds or rain checks will be given for "no shows" for any reason.
