Summer at the Zoo

The Rosamond Gifford Zoo is pleased to offer a variety of animal demonstrations and free daily tours this summer. Demonstrations and keeper talks not only give guests the opportunity to learn more about the animals, but also allow them to interact directly with the zoo's knowledgeable staff.

2010 Summer Demonstration Schedule:

10:30 a.m.       Animal demo at the Domestic Animal Barn/Meet the keeper (TBA)

11:00 a.m.       Elephant encounter

11:30 a.m.       "In the Wings" bird show

12:00 p.m.      Penguin keeper talk & feeding demonstration

1:30 p.m.        "In the Wings" bird show

2:00 p.m.        Elephant encounter

2:30 p.m.        Meet the keeper (TBA)/ Animal demo at the Domestic Animal Barn

3:00 p.m.        Elephant encounter

3:30 p.m.        Penguin keeper talk
