Zoo Boo
Trick or treat with the animals!
SAVE THE DATES - Saturdays and Sundays, October 2023
Join us for a "kooky-not-spooky" daytime Halloween celebration. The zoo transforms into a hauntingly fun destination for the whole family with trick-or-treat stations, creepy crawly animal encounters, keeper chats, games, activities, photo ops and costume parade! So, wear your costumes and bring your treat bags for this fall-favorite event!
New for 2022, we brought a “sleepy hollow” feel to the zoo with a Spooky Stroll through the Wildlife Trail.
Mysterious fog and eerie music spill over our decorated trail, giving a unique Halloween feel to visitors without being too scary for the little ones. A new trick-or-treating station in the Animal Health Center had a green screen for photo ops, where Zoo Boo participants posed for photos with the background of their choice.
*Admission to the zoo is not included in ticket price. You will be required to purchase admission to the zoo unless you are a zoo member.
Note: Zoo Boo tickets are required for trick-or-treaters only. Parents that do not wish to trick-or-treat are not required to purchase a Zoo Boo ticket.

Social stories help set the expectations for the event in a simple text and visual format. These stories are designed to benefit individuals who are neurodivergent but are also beneficial to anyone wanting to know more about what to expect at an event.
