Cora's Retirement Party!

Please join us in celebrating the retirement of our beloved Elephant Barn Dog, Cora! Cora came to us from Helping Hounds, and since 2018, she has served as a training assistant for the zoo's elephant team, helping them practice and teach animal training techniques before they use them with elephants.

After many years of hard work, we are excited to share that this sweet girl will be retiring to live full-time with our elephant care specialist, Alinda. 

We will be hosting her a little retirement party on Saturday, November 8. Sign her retirement card, donate to our elephant herd and Helping Hounds, or purchase our girl a present from her Amazon retirement wish list.

There will be an elephant Creature Chat at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., with a guest appearance from Cora herself (weather depending)!

Please note: Cora does not like being touched by strangers, so for her comfort, guests will not be allowed to pet her. But rest assured, her zoo family will give her ALL the pets in your honor. ❤️
