Earth Day Clean Up

Clean Up, Create, and Connect!
We're expanding our cleanup effort into the local community! By partnering with local schools, neighborhood organizations, and environmental experts, we're spearheading a movement to restore local habitats both on and off zoo grounds to protect North American Songbirds and Monarch Butterflies, two high-priority species currently facing extreme pressure in the wild. Can't make it for the on-site clean ups? Residents are encouraged to clean their own neighborhoods or local parks and create backyard pollinator gardens! Post about what you did to improve your local habitat via social media with the hashtag #CelebratePlanetEarth and tag us (@syracusezoo) for the chance to win a special prize.
Check in at 8:30-8:45 a.m.
Lunch provided around 12 p.m.
