The Rosamond Gifford Zoo welcomes group visits via prior arrangement. For your convenience, we ask that you make reservations prior to your arrival so that we may expedite the admission process, ensuring that the members of your group have time to visit our facility. Group discounts are available; see below. Reservations can be made by calling (315) 435-8511 x8512.

School Group Rates

School Group rate requires a prior reservation and is for pre-school-12th grade. This rate also applies to sanctioned youth groups such as scouts, church youth groups, and nursery schools.

*Required Chaperones:

1 adult chaperone is required for every 7 youth ages 4 & up
1 adult for every 4 youth under age 4
1 adult for every special needs youth requiring 1 to 1 supervision or care

Students - $1.50
Adult chaperones exceeding the required number - $6
Children 2 and under - Free

School groups must make reservations at least two weeks in advance and may do so by calling (315) 435-8511 x8512.

Groups of 20-100 paying visitors

Youth (3-17) - $3.75
Adults (age 18 to 61) - $6.00
Seniors (62+) - $3.75
Children 2 and under - Free

Groups of 101-250 paying visitors

Youth (3-17) - $3.25
Students (16-21 with ID) - $3.75
Adults (age 18 to 61) - $5.00
Seniors (62+) - $3.25

Groups of 251-500 paying visitors

Youth (3-17) - $3.00
Students (16-21 with ID) - $3.25

There are several ways to purchase group rate tickets:

Option 1: All members of the group arrive at the zoo at the same time on the same day. One form of payment is required at the ticket booth at the time of arrival. Please make reservations for your group by calling (315) 435-8511 x8512 at least two weeks prior to your visit.

Option 2: A representative for the group may take pre-orders and purchase the exact number of tickets needed by the group. The ticket price is based on the total number of tickets purchased and no refunds will be issued for unused tickets. Payment is made in advance in exchange for tickets which may then be distributed to members of the group. Tickets may be used at any time and do not have an expiration date.
