STEAM Day at the Zoo
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 28, 2024 | 10 A.M. - 2 P.M.
A college and career exploration day at the zoo.
Join us at the Rosamond Gifford Zoo for a day of hands-on activities, learn about higher education and employment opportunities in the STEAM field in CNY.
Come ready to explore everything STEAM…from animals to engineering, and everything in between! Don’t forget to see the animals while you are here too!
The purpose of this day is to allow zoo visitors to have hands-on exploration of STEAM careers. We are hoping by hosting the event at the zoo and inviting students from Syracuse to attend that we will advance diversity, equity and inclusion in STEAM by exposing and sharing the vast opportunities in the field.
Visitors can meet with college and business representatives to discuss programs and explore passions through various activities. There will also be opportunities to meet with zoo representatives about careers and volunteering.
