The Adaptations exhibit features animals that developed unique adaptations to help them survive and reproduce in particular habitats, from deep underground to high up in trees. Many of these animals are nocturnal, so this area of the zoo is on a reverse light cycle to keep them active during zoo hours. This wing is home to such iconic animals as sloths, tamanduas, fennec foxes, naked mole rats and the elusive kiwi.
